The streets
Sochi’s night out migrates with the season rather than sitting on one street. In summer it is the Riviera and the central embankment — loud, beachfront, and running late — plus the Adler resort strip further down the coast.
The scene
Once the snow arrives, the whole evening moves up into the mountains, to Krasnaya Polyana for the ski season — a genuinely different city after dark than the one three months earlier. It reads closer to a Black Sea holiday town’s night out than a Russian capital’s, and which half of Sochi is “on” depends entirely on the month you travel.
Confirm the season before the city. A July brief and a February brief in Sochi are two different itineraries.
