Questions

Questions, answered plainly

The things people actually ask before they book.

How does a booking actually start?

You send a brief — a country, a rough month, how many of you. We come back within one business day with a shaped route and an honest range. Nothing is charged and nothing is held until you have seen a written itinerary and agreed the number.

Are the prices on the site what I will pay?

No, and we would rather say that plainly. Every figure shown is a per-person "from" price on twin share, in Indian rupees, excluding international flights unless the journey says otherwise. Your quote moves with your dates, the hotel category you want, availability at the time of booking and how many of you are travelling. Converted currencies are approximate — the rate and the date it was taken are printed next to them.

Do you handle visas?

We prepare the paperwork — invitation letters, booking confirmations, the supporting file in the format the consulate wants — and we tell you exactly what you need to do. We cannot issue a visa and no honest agency will promise you one. Consular fees are yours.

What happens if something goes wrong while I am travelling?

You call one number and reach a person, not a queue, in your time zone. The same coordinator who built your itinerary holds it while you are away, so nobody has to be brought up to speed at two in the morning.

Can you arrange a Russian-speaking guide?

Yes, in Belarus, Russia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye as standard, and in Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Kochi on request. Ask when you brief us — a good Russian-speaking guide in India is booked well ahead.

Do you only sell the journeys listed on the site?

The listed journeys are starting points, not a catalogue. Roughly seven in ten of the trips we run began as one of them and ended up somewhere different. If your country is not on the site at all, ask anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we know it well enough to be useful.

How do you take payment?

By bank transfer against an invoice, in stages: a deposit to hold, a balance before departure. The schedule and the cancellation terms are in the written itinerary before you commit to anything, not in a link at the bottom of an email.

Is travel insurance included?

No. We will tell you what cover the itinerary actually needs — altitude at Song-Kul and Kolsai, for instance, is a real exclusion in many policies — but you buy it yourself so that you own the contract.
