Drive from Chandigarh to Shimla (about 120 km, 3–4 hours).
Shimla: the temple, the Viceregal Lodge and botanical gardens, the Mall, Scandal Point, the Ridge, the Gaiety Theatre, the heritage museum, Lakkar Bazaar, Rani Jhansi Park and Christ Church.
Day trip to Kufri (about 22 km, an hour each way): the Himalayan Wildlife Zoo, Kufri Fun Park (closed on Tuesdays) and adventure activities.
The long drive to Manali (about 250 km, 7–8 hours), stopping at the Vaishno Devi temple in Kullu and the Pandoh Dam.
Hadimba Devi and Ghatotkacha temples, Vashisht hot springs, the Club House, the local market, the Tibetan monastery and the IBEX market.
A day in Solang Valley for its views and adventure activities.
Breakfast, check-out and the drive back to Chandigarh (about 310 km, 8–9 hours).
